Overview
When I started with DCC in 2000 most of my locomotives were not 'DCC ready'. Specifically for some older models a lot of work was needed to get a decoder installed. The industry has completely shifted to DCC and nowadays models are fitted with decoder sockets for easy installation. This page shows some of the installations that I've done over the years.
Sound
Sound creates another dimension while operating a layout. Over the years I've really embraced the new DCC capabilities and I have done many sound specific installations.

The latest installations are documentated on the Model Trains page. The "DCC installs" columns shows all the installations, that include many sound installations. The table below documents some installations as well.
