G12 7707 was a demonstrator for EMD in Europe. It was sold to the Swedish
Railways were it served, as the T42.205, until 1983. In 1986 is was bought
by the Norwegian GM-Gruppen,
which restored it and used it for charther trains.
In 2007 it was sold to the
Swedish National Railway Museum
in Gävle, Sweden.
