Introduction
The Norwegian Di3 is the classic Norwegian locomotive. They were in regular service until 2000. For more details read the excellent article by Svein Sando.
In HO the classic model by Marklin made it famous on many layouts. Roco, NMJ and Heljan have made excellent models and my are represented on this page.

The Di3.602 is the original NOHAB demostrator (NOHAB 2246). After
the NSB bought it, it was painted in the green colors used by the

This model started out as a Heljan Di3.619 but was modified by me. I installed
the front windows in cab 1 from another model. In the early 1990's the 602 had a

The Di3.642 is part of a new serie of Di3 locomotives built by Heljan, this time
on special order from NMJ. If you compare this new model with the older models you
will see some slight detail differences. So is the yellow colour a little bit different.
The snow plow has the warning stripes. Also new are the rails on the nose and the
metal hand rails around the doors. The doors also don't have any windows in it.
