As mentioned on my main page I'm very interested in Diesellocomotives built by Electro-Motive Division of General Motors. In the USA this builder is well known since the majority of the diesellocomotives in North America are build by EMD. Also in Europe you can find the well known sound of the EMD 2 stroke diesel engine.

    Larry Russels excellent site about all the export products of GM/EMD is a must for every diesel fan.
  • European NOHAB-GM information
    This site gives an excellent overview, with a lot of detail, about the Hungarian M61 locomotives and its relatives (Norwegian Di3, Danisch MX and MY, Belgium classes 52,53 and 54 and the Luxembourg class 1600).
  • NOHAB-GM page of Akos Horvath
    This site gives an excelent overview of the Hungarian M61 class.
  • The GM-EMD Homepage of Tommy Rolf Nielsen
    A site with information of European (especially Scandinavian) GM-EMD locomotives.
  • The UNofficial EMD Homepage!
    A catalog of locomotives built by EMD.
  • EMD corporate site
    EMDs own site gives some information about their products and you can do some online shopping (shirts, pens etc...).

    A site with some links about the F45. This site is dedicated to ATSF and BN (BNSF) with a lot of EMD information and pictures.

    A Norwegian club which has preserved some EMD/NOHAB locomotives.
