Introduction
The Norwegian El10 is a version of the Swedish U class, which was built in large numbers between 1929 and 1956. The El10 was delivered betwen 1949 and 1952. They were mostly used as switcher units around Oslo and Drammen. A few were refurbished and repainted in the new colors in late 1980's. By 1995 they were all taken out of service.
As it was based on a Swedish model, Perl made a kit that was sold through NMJ. Later on NMJ made a small series using DJH white metal bodies. In 2007 Trix introduced a new version based on the SJ U. So for a relative small serie of prototype there have been various HO model options.
