Fleischmann 218

Overview
The first time I met the V160 familie was the daily freight train that came through franeker (see Freighttrains in Franeker). Later on I saw the 218's in Arnhem where the trains from Amsterdam to Köln would change traction. The first model I bought was the Roco 215 (catno. 4155B) around 1984. Over time the collection grew. nohabs

215
Number: V160 003
Manufacturer: Roco
Catalogus no: 43840
System: Two rail DC
Era: III & V (museum)
Description: This model is the special museum edition, in a nice wooden box.
215
Number: 215 031-6
Manufacturer: Roco
Catalogus no: 4155A/43417
System: Two rail DC
Era: IV
Description: This particular model is special. The shell is from the first series (Roco 4155A), which didn't have flush windows etc. The other parts are from a later release (Roco 43417) which had a broken body shell. I moved the flush windows etc to the 'old' shell.
216
Number: 216 154-5
Manufacturer: Röwa
Catalogus no: 1201
System: Two rail DC
Era: IV
Description: Röwa introduced a very nice model of the 216 in the 1970's. It had very nice detailing, especially for its time. Röwa stopped in 1975 and most of its models continued with Roco. Unfortunately this 216 didn't because Roco had already a 215 of its own.
