Introduction
The Norwegian Di4 is a small serie of 5 locomoties, built in 1980 by Henschel. The Di4 was the first NSB locomotive to have three-phase and asynchronous motors and the world's first asynchronous locomotive in revenue service.
40 years later and in 2020 the Di4 locomotives are still in daily revenue service in the North of Norway (Nordlands banen). They still have the same livery (colors) as when delivered.

To this date three manufacturers have made an HO model of the Di4; Polar, Deak and Hobbytrade. The Deak and Hobbytrade versions are respresented here.
