Introduction

The Norwegian BM69 is an electric multiple unit (EMU). 4 different versions were built between 1970 and 1993. The BM69A and BM69B consist of two cars. Most of the 69B serie has been extented to three car units. The BM69C was a three car unit when it was introduced in 1975, The BM69D has very different look from the other series, the front-end of the EMU has been completed redesigned. In later years other sub series were created (BM69E,BM69G and BM69H).

The first HO model of the BM69 was a brass version of the BM69D, made by Agder Modell Technikk. It was introduced in 2005. In 2013 NMJ introduced a model of the BM69A in its Topline series.
